Financial Support
NSF funding permits the support of conference-associated travel and lodging costs for a number of participants. Tentatively, we will award funding according to three tiers:
- 12 travel grants of $1,000 each for participants attending via air travel
- 12 travel grants of $500 each for participants attending via ground travel
- 5 travel grants of $250 each for local participants attending via ground travel
Graduate students, young researchers, members from underrepresented minorities, and HBCU/MI faculty are especially encouraged to apply. To apply for financial support, please email your request for funding, along with your CV, to Chris Porter (christopher dot porter at drake dot edu) by March 15, 2024. If you are a graduate student, please arrange for a brief letter of recommendation from your advisor, stating how you will benefit from this conference, to be sent along with your CV.
