Conference participants who are staying on campus will either stay in Jewett Hall, a dormitory located in the center of campus, or in an apartment complex located at 1300 33rd St., which is located at the far west end of Drake’s campus.

Dining options

Drake has a number of dining options surrounding campus. Here are some options.

Northwest of campus:

  • Casey’s Convenience Store (gas station pizza is legitimate phenomenon in Iowa!)

Northeast of campus:

West of campus:

South of campus:

  • Fernando’s / Hummus / Krispy Krunchy Chicken (an affordable three-in-one dining option)

Southeast of campus

  • Dough Co. (pizza place with a killer lunch deal – $8 for a massive slice of pizza, a choice of salad or breadsticks, and a fountain drink)

  • Walgreen’s is located on the southwest corner of campus
  • The Varsity Cinema is a fantastic arthouse theater on the east edge of campus that will be showing movies throughout the week of the conference
